13 players you should draft SOONER in fantasy football 2023:

Christian Kirk (JAX), ADP 48.5, WR27:

Kirk earned career highs in targets, grabs, and yards last season.

That included the 5th-most RZ targets and the 12th-most deep targets.

Calvin Ridley can help find Kirk room underneath…

52% of his snaps were from the slot (494 total).

Joe Mixon (CIN), ADP 57.9, RB19:

The Bengals support him on the legal issue, so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt.

Mixon is still a big part of one of the most high-powered offenses:

• 6th in RZ touches (46)

• 7th in target share (13.9%)

• 7th in opportunity share (73.7%)

Joe Burrow’s attack is still a good place to be.

Miles Sanders (CAR), ADP 60.4, RB19:

The Panthers’ goal is to get him a lot of targets as Bryce Young's safety net.

(per ESPN)

He hasn't caught more than 26 balls since '19, so this role should boost him.

Plus he was productive as the 5th-leading rusher last year.

It’s a bonus that Jalen Hurts won’t be taking so many RZ carries away.

Tua Tagovailoa (MIA), ADP 98.8, QB12:

Health issues aside, Tua should be ranked higher than QB12.

Led all QBs last year in:

• Yards per attempt

• Deep ball completion %

And was 2nd in RZ accuracy rating.

I’m excited just thinking about Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle running around!

Check out PrizePicks for a great line on Tua below. I like the OVER.

Rashod Bateman (BAL), ADP 87.1, WR44:

His ADP is identical to that of rookie teammate Zay Flowers.

But I’m leaning with the vet.

His first 3 games looked good before the injuries caught up:

• 8 grabs

• 226 yards

• 2 touchdowns

Lamar Jackson already trusts him, and his attendance at OTAs is encouraging.

Pat Freiermuth (PIT), ADP 107.8, TE10:

The MCL sprain seems behind him; he’s practiced this week with no limitations.

(per @BrianBatko)

Muth in ‘22 was:

• 9th in target share

• 3rd in deep targets

He suffered some TD regression from the previous year, which may very well correct itself, boosting him up a tier.

Jakobi Meyers (LV), ADP 118.5, WR54:

Operating from the slot next to Davante Adams is a nice place to be.

I expect Meyers to jump Hunter Renfrow for snaps and targets.

He was top-20 in yards per route run, slot snaps, and total TDs for the Pats last year.

Plus he has familiarity with Josh McDaniels already.

Skyy Moore (KC), ADP 121.1, WR56:

Moore never really got it going last year,

But he's going 50 spots after Kadarius Toney, who isn't exactly Mr. Consistent.

That’s too many spots.

Mecole Hardman is gone so that semi-productive role is up for grabs.

Moore should get more looks in '23.

Jared Goff (DET), ADP 127.1, QB17:

Goff was overall QB10 in '22.

And he's consistent in his inconsistency:

At home, he was ranked QB10.2 on average.

Away, that number was over 20.

The Lions have the 7th easiest SOS for QBs (@FantasyPros)

Greg Dulcich (DEN), ADP 143.8, TE15:

Sean Payton ALWAYS gets the most out of his TEs.

Consder guys like Jeremy Shockey, Jimmy Graham, and even Ben Watson.

He plans to move Dulcich around to create mismatches in coverage (9 News Denver).

Dulcich was 7th in air yards share and unrealized air yards,

and was also 3rd in deep targets and ADOT

Jaylen Warren (PIT), ADP 140.5, RB45:

Even with Najee Harris's bell cow role, there's standalone value here.

Warren was:

• 5th in juke rate (40%)

• 16th in breakaway run rate (6.5%)

He also had a respectable 1.47 yards per route.

This is more than just a handcuff IMO.

Tyler Higbee (LAR), ADP 147.9, TE16:

He finished as PPR TE6 last year,

while earning the most targets (108) and receptions (72) in his career.

He only missed one game and had 7 top-10 weekly fantasy finishes.

The Rams should come back better after disappointing last year, and Higbee will see a big boost.

Robert Woods (HOU), ADP 199.7, WR85:

Woods flopped with Tennessee, but a new role with Houston may help.

C.J. Stroud's strengths include arm strength and accuracy.

Woods is in Houston to help him acclimate.

He's worth a look, especially at this late-to-last round price tag.
