I'll be breaking down the "Games of the Week" with @LordReebs all season...

Here's everything you need to know from our Week 2 chat 👇

Arizona at Las Vegas (-5.5):

With Sunday's DFS slate missing so many explosive teams, this is a chalky game.

The Cardinals' defense is banged up...

Mahomes and co. took full advantage, so the Raiders side is bound to be popular.

Let's start with the obvious.

Davante Adams ($8,600) is costly, but the man had 17 targets last week.

He was thrown to on 42% of routes and had carried nearly a 50% target share.

Even if those numbers will come down, it's clear Carr wants to feed him.

Hunter Renfrow ($5,500) could be in play, as the Cards get torched from the slot.

But Adams keeps the ceiling low here.

And the splits with and without Waller were drastic in '21.

Speaking of Waller…

At $5,600, Waller is about the same price as Kyle Pitts, who disappointed in Week 1.

Waller has the better matchup.

The QB options are thin, so Derek Carr ($6200) isn't the worst idea.

ARI gave up over 23.3 DraftKings points to QBs last season.

And Carr's at home.

But that also opens the door for (hold your nose)...

Josh Jacobs ($5800).

I'm a long-time Jacobs hater.

But CEH went off last week. And I got over my bias and rostered him...

So maybe there's something here.

In fact,

RunTheSims says he's a 71.4% favorite to best PrizePicks O/U of 17 fantasy points.

Will he do it?

Arizona provides fewer options.

Marquise Brown ($6,200) is probably due for a bounce-back game.

He makes sense at cost here.

But Greg Dortch ($3,500) could be a key.

And likely by the end of the week one of the chalkiest value options on the slate.

Here's why:

Dortch ran the same amount of routes as Hollywood Brown,

Ertz hasn't practiced as of this convo,

Arizona will be chasing the scoreboard,

and the Raiders allowed 10 catches for 135 out of the slot in Week 1.

Could be the chalk that unlocks rosters!

Washington at Detroit (-1.5):

Who knew these teams would be the 2nd best matchup this week?

I can't remember Detroit being favored in what feels like years.

In all seriousness, there's some DFS firepower here with bad defenses.

Let's get into it.

If DK keeps Amon-Ra St. Brown's ($6,500) cost under $7K, why not play him?

The man has:

• TD in 5 straight games

• 8 or more catches in 7 straight games

• Over 30% target share in those games

And WAS got blasted by Christian Kirk.

Amon-Ra is priced near Waddle, Metcalf, and Hollywood.

I think I'd take him over them all.

On the flip side, we should mention Terry McLaurin ($6,600).

The target share was rough...

@RunTheSims says the PrizePicks UNDER of 15 fantasy pts is an 81% favorite to win.

Also for the Commanders, Jahan Dotson ($4,200) was there for touches in week 1.

Curtis Samuel ($4600) is also cheap.

The last time he played a full season (2020), he led all WRs in touches!

But we also like the Washington RB.

Antonio Gibson ($6,200) was a great play last week. No one saw 7 catches coming.

Detroit allowed 3 scores to Philly RBs.

McKissic is involved mainly in the passing game, so Gibson's in a good spot.

You know what? Just attack that Lions Defense.

Aside from Amon-Ra, the Lions are iffy.

Swift ($7,000) hasn't been in practice, and he's costly.

If he's out, Jamaal Williams ($5,400) will be a chalk value option.

Other than that…

T.J. Hockenson ($4,700) is tough to get excited about at this price range.

19% target share is fine, but he doesn't go deep and doesn't get YAC.

It's almost TD or bust for him.

I'd rather go with D.J. Chark ($5,100).

Carolina at NY Giants (-2):

Normally, this isn't a great game.

But in a dry slate, there are pieces here.

Let's start with the RBs.

Saquon Barkley ($7,300) is far cheaper than Christian McCaffrey ($8,900).

But their ceilings are pretty similar.

Daboll is forward-thinking with Saquon.

Consider…

85% of NY's run plays out of 11 personnel.

That means Saquon got to run with 6 or fewer in the box.

He had 11 for 155 on such carries!

The Giants run through this guy.

The resurgence is on!

CMC was 3rd in snap share last week.

But the targets weren't there for him.

Too early to tell if it's a Baker problem.

The Giants' D let Dontrelle Hillard get loose last week.

They tend to blitz too much, leaving their subpar defensive backs vulnerable.

They're worse without Aaron Robinson.

Even Tannehill had 19 fantasy points!

(I'm still not playing Baker, though)

One interesting idea is to pay up for both of this game's RBs.

There are enough cheap plays to do it.

Not many others will go for it.

At least they're both involved in passing game. It could be a hit if it works out.

Robbie Anderson ($5,300) hit last week.

Ld the team in tgts and had a long TD.

It left scraps for D.J. Moore ($5,700).

But don't be fooled…

Moore was on the field for every drop back.

He'll see more than 6 targets most weeks.

As for the Giants' WRs, it's still murky.

Kadarius Toney ($4,200) only had 2 touches, and those were carries.

It makes me wonder what they're doing.

We should wait on him, which makes stacking the G-Men tough this week.
