It's tough to win BIG in DFS.

This will help you 99.9% of the way there.

Because these are the 3 games you have to get right on DraftKings in Week 9:

Every week, I have the pleasure of talking with @LordReebs for a deep dive.

It's an interesting slate to say the least.

Let's dive in…

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions (+3.5):

We didn't think we'd be looking here at this point of the season.

The Packers have underperformed, and we have a little Detroit fatigue.

But we have reasons for looking here…

Lions games are averaging 56.9 points.

When both D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown play, it rises into the 60s.

Can they knock the Pack out of the slump?

• GB scores on just 27% of drives.

• Lions opponents score on 47% of drives.

So, who will do it for GB?

If you aren't playing Aaron Rodgers (DK $5,900 - FD $7,000) this week,

take him off your board.

Detroit's D:

• 26th in TD rate

• Allow 69.3% completion rate

• Allow 8.4 yards per pass attempt

• Has allowed 5 QB1 scoring weeks

• 29th in yards allowed per completion

Who should we stack with Rodgers?

Allen Lazard (DK $6,000 - FD $6,500) may not play, BUT...

He's targeted on 31% of routes run, AND he gets TD equity.

We can wait on Lazard this week.

Someone who will be popular?

Aaron Jones (DK $7,400 - FD $7,800) stayed hot last week,

With 68.8% of backfield touches.

His biggest shares have come in the last 4.

He's getting passing game work.

Could be a backdoor stack with Rodgers.

There's no Travis Kelce or Mark Andrews on the slate.

So Robert Tonyan (DK $3,800 - FD $5,000) is in play.

Seen 20% of team targets in each of last 3 weeks, but still hasn't cleared 40 yards.

However, Detroit is 30th in TD rate to TEs.

PrizePicks has a couple of great lines in this game.

• Aaron Jones (93.5 Rush +Rec yards)

• Robert Tonyan (33.5 rec. yards)

Both seem low to me.

On the Detroit side Amon-Ra St. Brown is still too cheap (DK $6,600 - FD $7,100).

In his 4 full games:

• 43 targets

• Targeted on 31.6% of routes

• Targeted on 40.9% of routes vs. man

With T.J. Hockenson gone, maybe TD upside rises?

Remember:

The knock on Amon-Ra over the summer was he only produced due to injuries.

Well, Hock is in Minnesota,

And D'Andre Swift is hurting.

Good look with price still low.

Jamaal Williams (DK $5,900 - FD. $7,500) has 5 opportunities inside the 5.

That's tied for NFL lead!

Coach Campbell said Swift had too many carries last week (6). Ouch.

Williams has multiple TD upside.

So, who will pick up Hock's leftovers?

Hard to pay for D'Andre, especially after that comment from Coach.

Josh Reynolds? Kalif Raymond?

Both are cheap enough to fit into stacks.

We should maybe wait and see what shakes up between the TEs,

Brock Wright and James Mitchell.

LA Chargers at Atlanta Falcons (+3):

Game is tied for highest O/U this week.

For the Chargers, this is almost a must-win; they have a bear schedule coming up.

Luckily for them it looks good:

• ATL allows 77.3 PPR points to non QBs (last)

• LAC averages 82 PPR points (4th)

Justin Herbert (DK $7,200 - FD $7,800) throws so many short passes.

It makes it so you can find the cheap guy.

Joshua Palmer (DK $5,100 - FD $6,200) has been WR32 or better in 3 of last 4.

Now he'll see elevated targets.

Anyone else?

You can even look at DeAndre Carter (DK $4,300 - FD $5,500).

He's opened up by the Falcons.

In 8 games:

• Allowed 6 WR1s

• Allowed 15 top-30 WRs

• Allowed 4 WRs to score multi TDs

WOOF

They're getting crushed.

Of course, Austin Ekeler (DK $8,800 - FD $9,400) is always in play too.

He's played every game this year without either Keenan Allen or Mike Williams.

As a result, has 53 catches on 63 targets.

He'd be WR17 on the season!

In fact…

Our friends at RunTheSims have Ekeler as the 2nd-highest optimal rate player.

Don't forget Gerald Everett (DK $4,800 - FD $5,800).

He's been a safe floor guy, targeted on 21% of routes (TE10).

Atlanta is 31st in receptions to the position.

Chargers have some real stack potential.

Atlanta has a really weird offense.

Kyle Pitts (DK $4,500 - FD $6,300) has been frustrating.

And if you jumped off last week, you missed a decent output. Doh!

But they are pushing him the ball more.

Cordarrelle Patterson (DK $5,800 - FD $7,200) is back baby!

He's hyper-efficient as a runner.

Even if he's sharing carries, he could be interesting at cost.

And the Chargers have been putrid vs. the run.

Consider..

LA Chargers D:

• 31st in RB yards before contact

• 32nd in RB yards after contact

It adds up to 6.1 YPC to RBs.

Yikes!

If C-Patt gets 13 or so touches, look out.

The bottom line in this game is:

What each team does well, the other team is bad at stopping.

Falcons- worst at defending short passes

Chargers - worst at defending the run

Play accordingly.

Las Vegas Raiders at Jacksonville Jaguars (+3):

This is a game that may catch some steam.

It has the 2nd highest O/U on the slate.

If you're building stacks, there are many to be had here.

Let's start with Josh Jacobs (DK $7,300 - FD $8,800)...

Throw out last week.

Davante Adams (DK $8,100 - FD $8,100) had one catch, for crying out loud.

That wasn't Jacobs's fault, but he was a victim of the game flow.

He still leads the league in backfield touch percentage.

Look for Vegas and Jacobs to rebound.

Poor Trevor Lawrence ($5,200 - FD $ 6,800) has been dragged all week.

Obvs didn't play well in London.

He has the worst RZ EPA per drop back.

But the Raiders have the elixir.

Here's how…

Raiders Red Zone D:

• 29th in EPA per drop

• 2nd highest scoring rate

• Averaging 1.9 sacks + turnovers (worst in NFL by far)

Andy Dalton had 17 points vs. this team.

Reebs loves Lawrence to pop this week.

The backfield is even better.

Of 46 RBs with 50 carries this year, Travis Etienne (DK $6,300 - FD $7,600):

• 3rd in EPA per run

• 4th in success rate

• 6th in rate of runs for 10 or more yards

• 3rd in rate of runs with more yards than expectation

Oh, and those big plays!

Etienne, yards gained in single carries, last 4 weeks:

• 30

• 48

• 49

• 49

Those are splash plays!

And LV allows 146 total yards per game to RBs.

Who can you stack with Lawerence?

Christian Kirk (DK $5,500 - FD $6,300) had 7 targets last week.

He's had 20% or more of team targets in all but one game.

And Vegas vs. the slot looks great for him.

Finally, at TE, Evan Engram (DK $3,300 - FD $5,200) is way too cheap.

• Getting TE1 usage

• 10th in team target share

• 6th in routes run per team drop back

And you'll never believe this...

The Raiders are leaky vs. TEs.
