7 Sleeper RBs with LEAGUE-WINNING upside in Fantasy Football 2023

J.K. Dobbins (BAL), ADP 56.7, RB17:

2020 seems like ages ago.

But the potential flashed at times in '22:

• 2nd in juke rate (43.5%)

• 3rd in breakaway run rate (10.9%)

• Back-to-back 120-yard + games (Weeks 14-15)

Barring injury, he could go off.

Jahmyr Gibbs (DET), ADP 39.6, RB14:

He joins a rising young Lions squad.

Blazing 4.36 40-time is in the 99th percentile.

Caught 44 balls on a 12.8% target share at 'Bama in '22.

D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams took their 361 carries with them.

The talent is there.

Alexander Mattison (MIN), ADP 79.1, RB25:

Reports on Dalvin Cook have been concerning for Vikings fans.

He was dead last in RB EPA in ‘22.

It's been a while, but Mattison had 4 games as RB14 or better in '21.

And Kevin O'Connell recently spoke about his 3-down talent.

Cam Akers (LAR), ADP 76.1, RB23:

He got hot from Week 14 on last year.

Had 3 top-10 fantasy finishes, including best of the slate in Week 16.

Final 3 games:

• Routes went from 5 to 15 per game

• Carries went from 10.4 to 21 per game

The Rams should reward him.

Javonte Williams (DEN), ADP 91.5, RB29:

He was lost to injury after Week 4, but remember '21:

• 8th best juke rate (32.9%)

• 6th-most evaded tackles (81)

• 7th-most yards created per touch (3.42)

Assuming Sean Payton can right the ship, Javonte's upside is back.

Khalil Herbert (CHI), ADP 123.2, RB40:

His great athleticism is apparent.

He was top-10 in:

• Juke rate

• Yards per touch

• Yards created per touch

Bears have the 2nd-easiest strength of schedule for RBs (FantasyPros)

If he gets David Montgomery's RZ touches, look out!

Jamaal Williams (NO), ADP 127.9, RB42:

Most likely won't score 17 times again.

But Alvin Kamara’s continued decline means NO has to look elsewhere.

Had 57 RZ touches in Detroit.

NO may want a more traditional guy than Taysom Hill in there.

The late pick could pay off big.
